Apex is capable of importing files from Sketch-It and previous version of Apex.
To Import An Existing Apex File
1. In Apex, go to File ⇨ Import File.
2. Browse to C:\TRADATA\APEXDATA (C:\ is the default location; your files may be saved on a different drive).
3. Locate the file you want to import. It will have the same name as the report number it was originally associated with (i.e. 0901001.ax3). Select it and click Open.
4. Make any neccesary adjustments or edits, then save and exit Apex.
To Import An Existing Sketch-It File
1. In Apex, go to File ⇨ Import File.
2. Browse to C:\SMSDATA (C:\ is the default location; your files may be saved on a different drive).
3. Locate the file you want to import. It will have the same name as the report number it was originally associated with (i.e. 0901001.skt). Select it and click Open.
4. Make any neccesary adjustments or edits, then save and exit Apex.
Be sure to save your report in Appraise-It after transferring your sketch.
