How do I update my User Profile for UAD 3.6?

Beginning with Appraise-It Pro v.3.5, our public preview release for UAD 3.6, the User Profiles dialog has been updated to support several new data points required by the new dynamic reports.

After upgrading to Appraise-It Pro v.3.5 or later, you’ll be prompted to re-register the software and update your signature name. While legacy reports displayed your full name in a single field, the new UAD 3.6 reports break it out into four fields: first, middle, last, and suffix.

  • The suffix field in your signature name is for suffixes that are part of your legal name, such as “IV” or “Jr.” You will enter any designations that follow your name in a separate area of the user profile.

After re-registering, the first time you sign a report, you’ll be prompted to visit your user profile to verify your information is correct.

You can also go to Home > User Profiles to verify your information at any time.

On the Contact tab, verify your name (first, middle, last, and suffix) is correct, as well as your company name, company address, phone and fax numbers, and email address.

  • Your name as it appears when signing a report as the primary signatory is controlled by the licensing system, not your user profile. This is because we license Appraise-It Pro to individual users. If your signature name is incorrect when signing reports, please contact Technical Support.

On the Credentials tab, verify your License, Agency, and Designations.

The License section has been updated with UAD 3.6-specific license types.

  • If your license type was previously set to Certified, you will need to manually select either Certified General or Certified Residential.

The Agency section contains a Suffix field that can be used to append things like designations or an FHA ID to your single-line signature name in non-UAD 3.6 report types, as well as fields for your ASC, FHA, or VA ID (if applicable) in UAD 3.6 report types.

The Designations section allows you to select from the enumerated list of designations recognized by the UAD 3.6 specification. If you have a designation you want to include that does not appear in the enumerated list, check Other in the drop down and then enter the designation(s) in the Other field below.

Once you have verified all the information on all tabs is accurate, select Save, then Close.
