Our web hosting provider is requiring a mandatory firewall update, which is a breaking change for many of our online services beginning August 1st, 2022.
Emergency updates are available now for both Appraise-It Classic and Appraise-It Pro.
Please update Appraise-It Classic and Appraise-It Pro no later than July 31st, 2022 to ensure continuity of service.
Appraise-It Classic
Please go to Help > Check for update to install Appraise-It Classic v.16.6, which addresses this issue.
In Appraise-It Classic v.16.5 and below, all online services will cease to function on August 1st:
Without updating to v.16.6, Appraise-It Classic will also revert to Demo Mode within six weeks, since it will not be able to contact the licensing service.
Appraise-It Pro
Please go to Support > Check for Updates to install Appraise-It Pro v.2.7, which addresses this issue.
In Appraise-It Pro v.2.6 and below, CompLink will cease to function on August 1st. No other services are affected.
Windows 7 Users
Microsoft discontinued extended support for Windows 7 in January 2020. SFREP discontinued support for Windows 7 in May 2021. The updates to Appraise-It Classic and Appraise-It Pro that address this web services issue will not install on Windows 7.
If you are using Appraise-It Classic or Appraise-It Pro on Windows 7, you must upgrade to a supported version of Windows no later than July 31st, 2022 to ensure continuity of service.
