Integration for the Birmingham, Alabama metro area’s AGDA service is now available in Appraise-It Pro 1.8 and above.
Before you can use AGDA with Appraise-It Pro, you will need to contact our Sales team to add access to your account. Once your account has access, you’ll need to set it up and download the AGDA database for use in Appraise-It Pro.
1. Launch Appraise-It Pro.
2. Click the arrow at the upper top left of the Backstage screen to go to the main area of Appraise-It Pro.
3. Go to the Tools tab and click Comp Manager.
4. On the right you will see a green tile for AGDA. Select it using the radio button and then click Download.
The process of downloading the database and converting the records may take a while.
Once complete, you can search the database.
1. On the right, select the radio button for AGDA to switch the search database from your local comp database.
2. In the center, enter search terms or data in a search tile that corresponds with the criteria you want to search on. The more tiles you fill in, the more narrow and fine tuned your search will be.
3. Click View Results.
A list of AGDA addresses matching your search will be displayed as a series of tiles. Photos are now supported by AGDA, though most addresses don’t yet have them.
If there are too many results to display on one page, use the arrow buttons below the search results to browse them.
With a report open in Appraise-It Pro, you can drag address tiles from the search results into the comparable slots on Comp Manager’s right side.
Use the dropdown at the top to change which comparable type to transfer to, and click the green plus button to add additional comparable addenda to your report.
To do another search, click Back to Search and repeat the process. Once you’ve added all the addresses to your report that you need, click Transfer to Report.
