Appraise-It Pro: ACI Sky Export

ACI Sky is a portal software used by a number of banks and AMCs to facilitate the uploading and delivery of reports from appraisers. Due to some technical issues with their PDF scraping technology that have not yet been addressed by ACI, SFREP has created a dedicated ACI Sky Export.

Compatibility

The ACI Sky Export uses the Appraise-It Classic rendering and PDF engine. Appraise-It Classic compatibility mode will ensure your Pro report is compatible with the export.

To activate it, go to the Home tab and select Appraise-It Classic Compatibility Mode.

While in compatibility mode, Appraise-It Pro will disable certain features and warn you about incompatibilities:

  • In the New Report Types list, Report panel, and Add / Remove Forms dialog, forms that are not supported directly by the export will be greyed out.
  • With the exception of additional comparable pages beyond Comps 7-9, unsupported pages will be exported as images in exhibit pages. Additional comp pages are not supported by the ACI Sky Export as exhibit pages. Additional PDF and word processing pages will also be exported using exhibit pages.
  • Up to 50 letter and 50 legal sized exhibit pages are available.
  • In the New Report Types list, a warning will be displayed when creating a report using a primary form that is not supported.
  • In the Validator panel, warnings will be displayed for unsupported forms, field overflows and for any text fields that contain rich text formatting that’s not supported.

Export

To export a MISMO XML file that is compatible with ACI Sky:

1. Go to the Orders tab and select ACI Sky Export.

2. If any forms or addenda are not supported by the ACI Sky Export, they’ll be displayed in a list to notify you. If they can be included as an image in an exhibit page, this will be shown under the Status column. Select Next to proceed or select Cancel to return to your report for revision.

3. Ensure your page selection and ordering is correct. To omit a page from the export, clear its check box. To rearrange a page within the exported PDF, select it, then select the up/down buttons to move it.

  • Unchecking a box will exclude that page from the export but not remove it from your report file.
  • Moving a page will reorder it in the exported PDF but not in your report file.
  • Unsupported forms will be grayed out and cannot have their boxes checked.
  • Your selections and order will be remembered for this report in case you need to export it again later.

4. In the MISMO section, ensure your path and filename are correct. To change them, select the folder icon.

5. In the PDF section, ensure your path and filename are correct. To change them, select the folder icon.

6. Adjust any options as needed, then select Save.

7. When the export is complete, select View PDF and Close. 

It’s important to review the resulting PDF to ensure everything was exported correctly, especially text alignment and wrapping. This is crucial because the Appraise-It Classic rendering and PDF engine differs from the one used to display your report in Appraise-It Pro.

You can now upload your MISMO XML file or PDF to your client's ACI Sky portal.
