How do I use the TOTAL Connect integration?

SFREP and a la mode have partnered to allow you to upload completed reports from Appraise-It directly to the Mercury Network, via a la mode's TOTAL Connect client.

If you do not already have the TOTAL Connect client installed, click here to access a la mode's download page and installation instructions.

1. Open your completed, signed report in Appraise-It.
2. Go to OrdersTOTAL Connect.
3. The TOTAL Connect integration will launch. If this is a UAD report, the UAD Validator will run to ensure your report complies with FNMA's UAD guidelines. If any errors or warnings are discovered, you have the opportunity to correct them now and revalidate. Click Next.

  • If you had errors in the previous step, you will see a warning asking if you are sure you want to continue; we recommend correcting any errors before conintuing, however you can continue without doing so by clicking Yes.

4. Select the pages of the report you wish to include in your upload, then click Create PDF.
5. Several progress bars and dialogs will flash on your screen; you will then be prompted to log in to the TOTAL Connect client.
