If your display bit depth is set too low, you may get a runtime error 50003 when starting Photograph-It Plus 19.2 and above, which require a higher setting than previous versions. Take the following steps to adjust your display settings.
Windows XP
1. Right-click in an empty area of your desktop and click Properties.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Select "Highest (32-bit)" in the Color Quality drop-down and click OK.
4. Your screen may flicker while the setting is applied. If you are prompted the confirm that you want to keep these settings, click OK.
Windows Vista
1. Right-click in an empty area of your desktop and click Personalize.
2. Click Display Settings.
3. Select "Highest (32-bit)" in the Colors drop-down and click OK.
4. Your screen may flicker while the setting is applied. If you are prompted the confirm that you want to keep these settings, click OK.
Windows 7
1. Right-click in an empty area of your desktop and click Screen Resolution.
2. Click Advanced Settings.
3. Go to the Monitor tab and select "True Color (32-bit)" in the Colors drop-down, then click OK.
4. Your screen may flicker while the setting is applied. If you are prompted the confirm that you want to keep these settings, click OK.
You can now run Photograph-It Plus.
