By default, Appraise-It automatically selects the contents of a cell when you enter the cell. If you do not want it to select the text for you, take the following steps.
1. Go to Edit ⇨ Preferences.
2. Click General under Processing.
3. Uncheck the Automatically select text when entering a field option and click OK.
