Some features of Appraise-It can only be accessed by holding down a key on your keyboard while clicking a button or menu option in the program.
To Open A Report Using A Different Skeleton
1. In Appraise-It, click the Open button on the toolbar, or go to File ⇨ Open.
2. Browse to the report file you want to open and select it.
3. Hold down "Ctrl" on your keyboard while clicking Open.
4. Click OK if you get a message that says "The skeleton used to create the selected report could not be located. Please choose the skeleton that best describes your report."
5. Select the skeleton you want to use to open your report file and click OK.
The report will open using the selected skeleton. If you save the report after doing this, it will open using the new skeleton permanently.
To Load The File Open Dialog In The Default Data Directory
1. Hold down "Shift" on your keyboard while clicking Open on the toolbar, or the Open option in the File menu.
The File Open dialog will load showing the default directory (i.e. C:\TRADTA\DATA).
To Locally Change The Licensed User
1. Hold down "Shift" on your keyboard while clicking Change Licensed User on the toolbar, or Change Licensed User in the Help ⇨ Registration menu.
The offline Change Licensed User dialog will open. You can select any active license available on your local machine.
To Access Options For Restoring Or Repairing Custom Skeletons
1. Hold down "Ctrl" while clicking on the Utilities menu.
You can now access options for restoring custom skeletons from restore points or attempting repair of existing custom skeletons.
