The new File Index was completely rewritten from the ground up to improve stability, speed, and ease-of-use. To enjoy these new features with your existing reports, you'll need to rebuild your File Index.
Please note: you cannot work in Appraise-It while the rebuild is running. If you are operating on a network, this applies to all network users.
1. Open the File Index by going to File ⇨ File Index, or clicking the File Index button on your toolbar.
2. Click Rebuild at the bottom of the File Index window.
3. A message will appear with a time estimate, though the time will depend on the speed of your computer, how many reports you have, and how large the reports are. Click Yes.
4. A progress bar will appear at the bottom of the File Index. When it finishes, you will receive a confirmation message.
You can now search all existing reports using the new File Index.
