How do I install my digital signature?

Both Appraise-It Pro and Appraise-It Classic feature digital signature systems for signing reports. Appraise-It Pro allows you to create your own digital signature locally; Appraise-It Classic requires a custom digital signature file provided by SFREP.

Appraise-It Pro

1. Launch Appraise-It Pro, then go to the Home tab and select User Profiles.
2. Go to the Signature tab.
3. Select Setup.

The Signature Setup dialog has four options:

  • Browse to an existing image file of your signature.
  • Scan an image of your signature.
  • Create your signature using your mouse or touchscreen in image editing software.
  • Edit your signature, if one already exists.

Once your signature image is loaded, left click on the image preview to set your signature's baseline. This will control the vertical placement of your signature when signing forms.

If you have not yet received your digital signature file, contact our Sales department. If you previously had your digital signature installed but can no longer find the digital.sig file, click here.

Please note that you must have the correct licensed user active to follow these steps. If you are installing a different user's signature, you must change licensed user to activate them first.

1. Save the digital.sig file to the ADMIN folder inside the TRADATA folder.
2. In Appraise-It, go to ActionChange User Info.
3. Click Signature at the bottom of the user information dialog.
4. Select the digital.sig file and click Open.
5. The default password is "password" without quotation marks. Enter it when prompted and click OK.
6. Click OK to save the signature and close the dialog.
